A Show Quality Car Built by American V8 Classics in Alpharetta, GA
As part of the build process, nearly every body panel on this Camaro has been replaced. Auto Metal Direct supplied the aluminum cowl induction hood (23 lbs. Alum vs. 48 lbs. Steel), fenders, trunk deck lid, header valence panel, and bumpers which reduce the overall weight of the car by about 120 lbs. American V8 Classics polished the z28 aluminum stripes, bumpers, underside of the trunk deck lid, and hood which compliments the stunning Sherwin Williams Planet Color’s Barret Jackson’s best of 25 collection “Big Bad Orange” and makes it known this is not your average 69 Camaro.
In the detailed engine bay is a prototype high revving 500 HP Aluminum LSX built by Grimes Twister Engines and installed using MuscleRods LSX conversion components. For an extra boost there is a 150 HP N0S System with polished aluminum tank. This modern power plant is connected
via a Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed transmission via Aluminum Driveshaft powering a Moser Engineering 9 inch Ford rear axle.
The Autorad polished aluminum shroud and radiator keeps the temp in check and looks stellar along with the ceramic coated Hedman Hustler long tube hedders. Custom Racing buckets up front will further reduce the weight of this styling 69z. The power gets to the pavement via the Ridetech’s four link Airbar w/ Shock Waves rear suspension and front MUSCLEbar, Tubular Coil-Over front suspension mounted on a stock sub-frame, and Wilwood disk brakes on all four corners provide modern handling.
All in all, this is one fast cool ride.
